It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And what better way than to celebrate than with a Christmas wedding? Dana and Bo were married at the beautiful Chapel at Livingston in Madison, Mississippi. On a not so cold winter’s night, In true Mississippi fashion, the two exchanged vows under the beautiful stained glass in the crisp, white chapel.
I was asked to paint the ceremony scene on an 18 x 24 canvas. The festive Christmas trees were quite fun to incorporate. The chapel was home to both the ceremony and reception. Leave it to the experts to flip a space this quickly! Within minutes, there were tables and chairs, food displays, and a dance floor.

Guests always enjoy watching the painting evolve over the course of the event. Not only is this a custom piece for the bride and groom, but it’s also memorable entertainment for their guests!
Revealing the painting to the couple for the first time is always a sweet experience for me. I love seeing my hard work appreciated by the newlyweds and their guests. During a live painting, the interaction with guests and the excitement from the couple and their family is worth it every time!
